Spring Merchandising Intern
The Merchandising Intern supports the development and execution of departmental seasonal strategies and business objectives. Assists through the entire Product Life Cycle process. Embodies the company’s Values & Practices by maintaining effective collaborative relationships, taking pride in the company and brand, embracing diversity in all facets of the position and representing a hunger for knowledge and responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
• Manages sample process – distribution, maintenance, and tracking/meeting deadlines for pass-offs to cross functional teams.
• Assists and supports in the maintenance of assortment sheets, style management in RMS, and processes markdowns.
• Reconciles on-order receipts.
• Pulls selling reports.
• Keys in related selling and generates a related selling report.
• Creates visual cards and ensures that these documents are consistently updated.
• Assists in overall communication and support of CFT (general agenda, recapping, taking notes).
•Completes all marketing support documents (store set document, marketing look information).
•Handles other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.

All interns must be currently enrolled college students. This is an unpaid, for credit internship for the Spring semester. EOE.

Details: RKO Pictures, the world’s oldest movie company behind the classics: Citizen Kane, King Kong, It’s a Wonderful Life and more recently Are We Done Yet? and Beyond a Reasonable Doubt is seeking bright, eager creative development interns for the spring semester to help with the company's new and developing feature film projects.

Intern needs to be able to work independently as well as in group discussions. Ideas will be discussed, challenged and further developed. Intern needs to be a self-starter, creative, aggressive, and fun to work with. Must have strong writing and communication skills and a strong interest the film industry.

The internship is very hands-on and consists of researching, giving notes on projects, writing coverage, film analysis, administrative duties, assisting executives in the field, and basic office work.

Interns must be available 2-3 days a week.
